ITIL certification JUNE 28, 2017
After three days of intensive course held in the company's premises in Noceto (Parma), iSolutions' directors and a few Project Managers were awarded the ITIL IT Infrastructure Library certification.
Managed by the ITIL Certification Management Board (ICMB) and developed by the UK Office of Government Commerce (OGC), the title certifies at an international level the knowledge and use of the guidelines, concepts and terminology set out for the management of IT services . The guidelines provide a standard framework of best practices for operations and corporate functions in the IT Service Management in order to guarantee the delivery of quality services.
The certification identities 5 process areas within IT services: Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation Functions, Continual Service Improvement. Each area is a stage in the lifecycle of IT services, and for each stage the ITIL libraries describe the various management practices involved.
Together with the six-month course for project managers recently started at iSolutions, this certification was necessary to implement and optimize business workflows. At the same time, the ITIL certification offers iSolutions' customers and associates, the guarantee of a reliable, structured partner who can offer better services at competitive prices thanks to rigorous control of its internal processes.
