The Highly anticipated Hackafork, the first food-themed hackathon, organized by iSolutions (due to the success achieved with the organization of the hackathon focused on business automation), was held on 25 and 26 January with the important support of SwitchUp, Lutech CDM, Intelligent Hack and the secondary school “IISS Carlo Emilio Gadda” which hosted the event inside their premises in the Innovation Farms in Fornovo di Taro (PR).

In an atmosphere of great enthusiasm, 6 teams fought for 24 hours, putting creativity, competence and genius at the service of the food supply chain, from production to logistics, and from sale to catering.
Despite the stakes, the challenge took place in an atmosphere of great sportsmanship and full collaboration also between opposing teams, demonstrating the fact that in these competitions the biggest goal was to be able to see all the projects come together.

The central theme of the event lent itself well to stimulating the imagination of the participants, who were able to bring together very diverse ideas.

In the end, it was the Passion Fruit team that barely beat out their rivals with a minimal advantage, reflecting the high level that was reached by all participants.

Special praise went to the Gadda team who, with great commitment, perseverance and dedication, was able to present a finished product to the jury despite some technical problems encountered during the first phase of the competition. The situation forced them to stay in front of the PC throughout the night.
