PROJECTS FOR A MORE SUSTAINABLE FUTURE

"CleanCode," has come to an end!

More than 20 participants battled it out with lines of code, a challenge full of ideas and excitement, a hackathon full of enthusiasm and participation, during which teams unleashed their creativity and technical skills, creating innovative projects to address the environmental challenges of our time.

On May 13 and 14, 2023, at the Innovation Farm in Fornovo, the 4 participating teams implemented 4 projects to create a more sustainable future for all:

• "WaterZen": a system that allows the analysis of water consumption in the home, through some sensors the system analyzes the consumption of water and Co2, sending notifications and thus allowing the identification of any waste in real time. A simple but effective architecture for the purpose, consisting of a few devices, an MQTT broker, and a data analysis system seamlessly integrated with external notification systems.
• "FoodMark": application to improve food awareness, "Eat conscious, live sustainable" is its slogan; allowing to search for any food and have information on the consumption of CO2e and water for the production of the raw materials that compose it. Project implemented with .NET API, Redis, Chat GPT API, Bootstrap and Moustache JS.
• "CityGardens": a platform for the management of communal gardens, complete with website, sensors for plant status detection and seamlessly integrated to the interface. Developed with .NET APIs, Angular, PostgreSQL, Docker, MQTT, Tasmota and ESP32; secured the ideating team second place.
• "Litter Logic": a card game developed in HTML and Javascript, in which "whoever recycles best, wins!", a clean, eye-catching interface with more than 50 unpublished illustrations and intended for a very young audience to convey, even to the youngest, the importance of recycling while having fun at the same time. A game that ensured the victory of the team, composed of, among others, some students from ITSOS of Fornovo.

The event was therefore a great success, thanks to the availability of Innovation Farm, the organization of iSolutions, and the enthusiasm of the participants, making possible an event full of ideas, passion and full of energy, strictly renewable.
